“AGMA Rota società agricola srl”, established in 2021, starts its journey with the “riseria” in 2023. The founder and CEOs, Angelo and Amedeo Rota, dreamed of a “riseria”, where custom and modernity, tradition and innovation could mix and thrive. After the stop to the production in 2016 due to economical difficulties by the previous owner, the establishment was consequentially bought by the brothers Rota.
“It would have been a shame to abandon this wonderful building to its unfortunate destiny” tells us Angelo Rota when asked about the reasoning behind the acquisition of the “riseria” in december 2021.
Since then, many were the interventions to restore buildings and machineries to their former glory. Even though production could be restored, there is still much work to do, in order to achieve full and complete functionality.
“The acquisition process was as long and difficult as the restart of production.” confirms us Amedeo.
Our brand, Riso Rota, is a symbol of excellency and quality. Our policies and production methods are designed around sustainability and conservation of our surrounding biological diversity. Nevertheless, we strive to achieve incredible results with our products.

Amedeo, professional butcher, joined his brother Angelo in the difficult adventure of the “riseria”. He swore himself to restore the mill to a standard higher than ever. Objective: rice worthy of the most demanding tasting buds.
